WD-40 Specialist Silicone leaves behind a lubricating film that resists water and protects against wear and corrosion. The resulting film is clear and free of messy or sticky residue, reducing the attraction of dirt and debris. The professional-grade formula can be relied on to lubricate even at extreme temperatures (-100° F to 500° F.).

Silicone lubricant is ideal for use on cables, pulleys, guide rails, valves, linkages, hinges, locks, and more. It is safe to use on most common application surfaces including most metals, plastics, rubbers, and vinyl when used as directed. If unsure, test on a small area first.
